My Experience with Contacts

All my life, i have worn glasses, and i thought i want a change before i go back to college, so i thought i want to get contacts because i hated wearing glasses and i would love to try contacts for a change. So i booked an appointment with my opticians. Then i went to the opticians and i had to take my glasses off. Then i had to put my chin onto this machine thing and she looked at my eyes, it was a microscope for the eyes, so she can see if my eyes were ok. After that she put a dye in my eye, then looked into my eyes via the microscope, to see if there was anything that might not allow the contacts to be on the eyeball. Everything was fine. So she got the contacts out of the container and she did my left eye first, i have to say it wasnt that nice because the contact was cold and i kept flinching because it is natural, so it did take a couple of times to get it in. It was weird cos i had to blink a couple of times when the contact was on my eye and then i could see perfectly. Then she did my other eye and it was the same as my left.

Then she gave me about five minutes to have a look at things around the room with them in. Then it was time to get them out. Getting them out was the hardest bit because you have to pull the contact down into your lashline and grab it and she did that. That was hard, but then it was done. She told me i could try and put a contact in my right eye. I was nervous about it but i got the contact and tried to put it on my eye. That took a little while but i did it. By the way your eyes will run like mad and that was a bit annoying. Then i had to take the contact out by myself. That was hard because i had to pull the contact away form my eye ball bit and i found that hard. Then that was it for that session. I had to wait for my contatcs to be made because my right eye is a bit different to my left, so they have to order special ones for me.Then i got them. I had three months supply this time, I had to put the contatcs in and out of my eyes to see i could do it and i can, so i took them away and now i will start trying them in my own time. Contatcs can give people confidence in themselfs which does help.

My experience on getting my belly Button pierced

This post is about getting my belly button pierced or navel pierced. I wanted to have my belly button pierced because it looks nice and i wanted to have one because there was nice belly bars i could have if i got it pierced. So i decided to have it with my friend. We planned it a month before so we know when we are doing it. However i have a big phobia off needles and injections, so this was a big thing for me because of the needle. I was really nervous on the day i was having it done. I could not eat anything because i was that nervous. I went to my local town and met with my friend at subway. Then we went to a piercing shop that we knew. You should always check that they are clean and use proper equipment to pierce the belly or else you could get nasty infections and even HIV. I knew the place i was going was clean because i went with a friend to have her lip pierced there.
I had to wait a while, which made me worse because i was so nervous of needles. Then we were aloud to go in a room behind the main bit. I went first because i wanted to get it out of the way. First of this man told me to lift up my top to show me my belly button. Then he cleaned the area, to amke sure it was all clean before piercing. Then he drawed two dots on my belly where he is going to pierce the needle through the skin. By that point i was freaking out. I had to lay on a bed thing which was high, so it was hard for me to get up because i am short :L .
Then the man put a clamp on the skin, which did hurt a bit to start, then then it stopped. Then he put numbing spray on to the area, however me and my friend said that it doesnt work. The man started putting the needle through i could feel that and then he put the bar in. To be honest it did hurt a lot, i dont know what hurt though cos it was over in three seconds. I know people say it doesnt hurt, mine did. i have a low pain threshold anyway, so that might be why it hurt more for me. Then the man put a bandage over the piercing, then i was done. It costs me 20 pounds for the piercing and the bar, so it was a good. Then the man gave me an aftercare leaflets which explains on what you have to do to look after it. It has been three days since i had it done and it hasnt got infected yet which is very good.

I will give you an update on it in a few months time, to see how it is going.
Thanks for reading this and i hope this has helped :)

Nation collection haul

Hiya everyone, this next post will be a little haul from the natural collection range. Natural collection is a very cheap brand of make-up in boots. I know its cheap and people usually think that they are crap because its cheap. However cheap make-up products can be good as well as the expensive drugstore brands. I like natural collection because it is cheap and they do some nice products. I do own a few natural collection products like loose powder. They do eyeshadows and i never tried them out. i tried two of them and they are quite good. They are not as pigmented as mac eyeshadows but what do u expect for a cheap eyeshadow. I thought they were good.
I got two eyeshadows. One in willow and one is barley. they are single eyeshadows but i cant tell u what weight they are because it doesnt say on the package.

(By the way, sorry about the picture, my camera has broken and used my webcam which aint that good anyway, but this is just to show you what the colour is)
This one is called willow. It is a mushroom colour. i think it is light brown/silver, im not to sure. From the picture it is not white, its sort of light brown/mushroom colour. When i swatch it on my hand, it is quite nice and quite pigmented. I would wear that everyday because it is a neutral colour.

The next one is called Barley. Barley is a gold colour which is really nice. Also this is quite pigmented like the willow. Barley is a lovely gold colour which could be worn everyday.

These two eyeshadows are really nice. There are a a load more eyeshadows there and i would like to get more of them. Thanks for reading this post and there will be more posts coming up.

Johnson's Holiday skin body lotion review

I know this is a bit too late but i wanted to give you my view on it. Right this product is meant to tan your legs or any part of the body day by day. it is a slow tanner that works everyday. It is meant to be streak free and tan will develop after 3-4 days.

My view on this product is not good. This product is rubbish. It smells horrible and it made me look orange after 3 days after a applied it everyday. The orange look is not a good look. It makes streaks on my legs, it says it doesnt but it does and i couldnt get rid of it, so i had streaky orange looking legs whcih wasnt nice because i had a party quite soon after that.
This was my quick review on this product and dont be fooled in what it says on the package because it is not true. Thanks for reading this post, bye

Benefit Pencils

Hiya everyone. A little while ago, glamour mag was offering free benefit pencils with their mags. There was three types. There was Eye Bright, It Stick and Bad Gal. There was one pencil with every mag. So i got two of them. I got Eye Bright and It Stick. I wasnt keen on the Bad Gal because i am not a eyeliner person and i dont wear eyeliner much. The mag cost 2 pounds each. I looked through the magazine and i didnt like it because on every page there was a advert. Basically there was a lot of adverts and very little writing, so i didnt like the mag. This post is a little review on both of the pencils. I know it is late but i didnt make a blog that long ago. So here we go....

The Eye Bright is the best pencil i think. The pencil is too brighten the eyes to make the eyes look more wake and more refresh. The pencil is a light pale pink colour and it is a nice colour for the eyes to make them wake. I would put this in the inner corner of the eye and i might use this as a highlighter under my brows. Also i would use this under my eyes to make my skin look brighter and look more healthy. The texture of the pencil is very creamy and it glides onto the skin easily. Also it is very blendable. Its not cakey, its just looks nice of tired skin. So i would recommend this for anyone because it is a nice pencil to have in your make-up kit.

The It Stick is a concealer. The concealer is too conceal spots etc. There was only one colour it came in. The colour was a light colour. This will not be good for people with darker skin tones but it is good for me because i have a light colour skintone and it suits me very well. The concealer is a basic tool for the make-up kit. The texture is the same as the Eye Bright. It is very creamy and easily blendable, so you dont need to rub away to blend in with the skin. This is also i good pencil to have.

I never had anything from benefit, so this was very good for me. Benefit products are expensive for me because i like to save my money and i rather buy benefit products when i get a proper job. The pencils come in a little box with the name on it. I thought it was nice to have it in a box. So this is my sort of review on the benefit pencils i got in the glamour mag. Thanks for reading this post, any suggestions on what i can do, please leave a comment on this post or any posts i have done. Thanks
