Anyone heard of the Colgate maxwhite one? Apparently this toothpaste really makes your teeth a shade whiter in a week. Well this is what i read on the internet reading customers reviews on this toothpaste and i thought i might as well try and see if what they say really does work, or its just another toothpaste which says it makes teeth whiter but it doesnt do anything apart from making your breath smell nice.
I dont know how long this toothpaste has been out on the market but i was going around Tesco and i saw this. I have tried so many whitening toothpastes that claim they whiten teeth but they never do. Colgate maxwhite one, states that this toothpaste can make teeth one shade whiter in one week!. I looked on the internet for reviews and people have said that it even makes teeth one shader whiter in 3 days. This looks pretty interesting and had to try it out.
I will use it for one week, 3 times a day which is the instructed number of uses and will see if this toothpaste makes my teeth whiter in one week. I will do another post on this after the week is up, to review and see if the toothpaste works or not :) x-x
So i did one of these type of posts a long time ago and i thought i might as well do another one. These will be the upcoming make-up products that which be launching in the UK in the next couple of months. Some will be high brand and some wont be. These are the products that will be coming out very soon -
Topshop will be launching another glitter nail polishes in their make-up range. They do have a collection of glitter nail polishes (only 3) but they have never done a purple glitter nail polishes before. This is all going to change on the 21st March 2012 when they are going to be releasing a new colour called razzmatazz and razzmatazz will be a purple glitter top coat which can be used over other nail polishes.
Benefit has been releasing a lot of brand new products lately and they still keep on coming. The next product coming out is a liquid bronze highlighter. This is a first for benefit and it will join the liquid highlighter collection they have already which is highbeam and moonbeam. Sunbeam will be launched in June which will be ready for the summer and will compliments all skin tones. This can be mixed with moisturiser or foundation to make it less pigmented and can be used as an all over warm glow ready for the summer.
Collection 2000 are bringing out a new mascara called Multiplier mascara( Love the name). The multiplier has been developed to bring 14 times more volume to the lashes to create a wide-eyed look. The mascara is priced at £4.99 and is available at superdrug and boots stores nationwide on March 17 2012.
Last up is a limited edition collection by Boots No7 for the summer. The collection has been created by lisa eldridge and is called the Summer of dreams collection. I also love this name, it gives a nice feel to the collection and already interests me. The collection includes a bronzer (£13), glitter top coats in gold and silver (£8 each) a set of four eye crayons in Metallic Bronze, Hazy, Green, Cornflour Blue and Metallic Grey(£13) and lastly a Nourishing Lip shine glosses in Pink and Peach (£10.50 each). All these products sounds interesting and i might have to buy the bronzer and the glitter top coats.
I have never owned a Opi nail Polish or Lacquer in my life and i thought to myself, i have got to try one of their nail lacquers to see what was all the hype about. Opi is a quite expensive nail polish brand and i think they are stated and started in the US and you cannot get Opi in drugstores in the UK like Superdrug or Boots. There has always been a lot of talk and hype about Opi's nail lacquers and i have finally decided and let myself buy two of their nail lacquers.
Both of these nail lacquers are from the muppets collection which was released at christmas 2011, so its still pretty new to their collection of nail lacquers. There is a range of different nail lacquers you can buy in this collection but they are pretty expensive to buy in the first place. I bought these two nail lacquers on ebay and yes they are real ones since i bought them from a proper supplier and checked other people's reviews before purchasing.
The first one i bought is called Excuse Moi (Love the name). I have to say that this one has got glitter and colour to the polish instead of just glitter. This means that you do not have to use as much to get the full effect you want. It is a pink colour with lots of glitter. The glitter comes in a variety of colours such as pinks, reds, blues and greens. Just when you look at the bottle you can see all the different colours of glitter and how pretty this colour really is. I have never had a nail polish like this one and i really cant wait to try it out soon.
The second nail lacquer is called Divine Swine and i think this is one of miss piggy's collection. I have seen quite a lot of videos and reviews about divine swine because some people like it and some people dont, so its a love/hate relationship with this one. Just through the glass bottle i can see that there is silver chunks of glitter with purple glitter in a clear finish. So i know this is not going to be quite a strong colour and would need a lot of product to get the full effect i want. But i am still looking forward to try this product out sometime.
Overall i am quite happy with these two nail lacquers from Opi and i hope they will live up to the hype. Both of these nail lacquers can come in mini's or full sixe. I know the full size is 15ml which is quite a good size for a nail polish. I will keep you posted on the outcome when i finally use them x-x
Ok, so i have just found this out and impulse are going to be releasing a new frangrance into their collection. However this new frangrance will only be launched in Superdrug. This means that the only place you can purchase this frangrance is in Superdrug. Dont try Boots, Asda and all the other shops that sells them because they will not stock this because it is an exclusive product for Superdrug.
The name of this new frangrance is called Loving words.Also this new frangrance will come in the normal impulse bottle but the colours will be centered around bright colours. On the bottle, it has a bright Turquoise colour and this is the main colour on the bottle. Then it has bright pink and purple to make it more appealing and eye catching for when we walk past the shelf.
Superdrug will be doing an introductory price which means the new impulse frangrance can be bought at £1.19 until 28th September. After this date, the price will go up to £1.99. Thats a pretty big jump in prices, so to save some money, buy it before 28th September. The product will be launched in September.
Hiya everyone, so this is going to be a youtube video post. I have just put this video onto my youtube channel which is Laurensmart1993. I have done another post on the comforter that i did ages ago. I think it tells you how to use the comforter in writing, but i thought i might as well do a video one to actually show you what happens to the comforter when it meets warm/hot water.
In this video you will see my hand moving away from the tap quickly, i sort of made the mistake in by letting the water go really hot before crumbling the product. That is not a good idea so i recommened anyone to crumble the product when the water is warm and not hot.

Hiya everyone, so i did this eye make-up tutorial on youtube not so long ago, and i thought i might as well write one as a post as well with pictures. This eye make-up look is really easy to do and all you need is either the sleek Med palette or any purple, pink, blue and green eyeshadows. I used sigma brushes to apply the eyeshadows but you can use any brushes because they all do the same thing. All you need are the eyeshadows, brushes, primer and a mirror to complete this look.
Ok, so the first thing you need to do is too prime your eyelids. This will keep the eyeshadow on your eyelids all day and will make the colours pop. I used the Urban Decay primer potion in orginal. Then i took the sigma short shader brush and applied the purple all over my lids. The purple is called Lotus Flower.
After i applied Lotus flower. I then took a small brush (Unbranded) and took the Mid toned blue from the palette and applied it from the middle to the outer corner of my eyelids. The blue colour is called Humming Bird. Take any blending brush. I used the revlon contour brush and blended out any harsh lines between the purple and the blue colours.
Then take a Hot pink colour and apply this to the outer v and to the crease. Be sure not to go up to far from the outer v. I applied this Hot pink with the sigma E25 but you can use any blending brush you have. The hot pink is called Magenta Madness (Love the names of these eyeshadows).
Take another blending brush but it has to be a clean one. I took the Sigma E35 and applied a green colour into the crease next to the pink. The green is called Kiwi Zest. Take the same blending brush you used to blend the blue and the purple and blend the pink and green together. Then go over the whole eye to make sure their is no harsh lines.
Then take a white/cream colour eyeshadow and apply this under the brow bone. I used my fingers but you can use a brush if you wanted to.
Apply eyeliner and mascara to complete the eye make-up. Then i took the sigma F10 to apply the blush. I used a really hot pink blush from sleek called santorini and applied it to my cheeks. Then to complete the whole look, i used the pout polish by sleek called Monte Carlo which is also another hot pink colour.
It is pretty simple to do and you can use any type of eyeshadows, blush etc to complete your look. I hope i explained it alright, if not then i will leave a link on the video i did for this look on my youtube channel. Ok, so i have done youtube for other 6 months now and it is going great but not as well as i thought it might have but oh well life goes on and i will keep sticking at youtube. I love doing youtube, it lets me relax and talk about beauty which i love to do. I would recommend anyone to do youtube but i wouldnt do it if you havent got thick skin. I have got hate comments already and it is really hard to take it in but just ignore them and carry on.
