Small NYX haul Video
I have never tried or bought anything from NYX which is pretty shocking since I know a lot of people do rave about NYX. I bought four products from Love makeup which is a beauty website and they had a sale on some NYX products.
Please take a look at the video below of the NYX Haul.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover Review
I never really tried eye makeup removers until I tried this and this did not let me down. Clinique take the day off makeup remover has been in my makeup bag for a couple of years and has got to be a staple in my collection. Finding a new eye makeup remover will be hard since this remover is pretty good and has set the standard for other removers.
The Clinique take the day off makeup remover is a bi phase formula which basically means there is an oil within the formula which gets rid of the makeup and then water section to clean up the oil. When shaken, these two sections meet and create the actual remover and that is when it is fine to use.
I first tried it from a sample in Glamour magazine a few years back and it was quite a big sample and it lasted for a while. At first I didn't like it because it felt quite oily but I finished the bottle and bought a 50ml size from Boots which is nearly empty.
I love this remover because it literally removes every single particle of makeup and its brilliant for contact wearers. I wear contacts so its highly important to find a product which wont sting or irritate with my contacts. This remover was perfect because I sometimes got a bit of the product in my eye which is not on purpose but it made my eyes a bit blurry for a while but it never irritated or stung my eyes. After a while the blurry vision went back to normal. I feel like I am not going to worry if I get any of this into my eyes since it doesn't cause a reaction.
Also the take the day off makeup remover helped to remove all my makeup without any hassle. However it felt quite oily because of all the oils removing the makeup. To get rid of this oil, I just used a clean tissue and wiped away the remover which left my skin feeling fine and the makeup gone.
The top on the bottle is a screw top which helps to stop the bottle from leaking and it is a child safety lock to prevent children from opening the bottle. Its 100% fragrance free and doesnt have a strong overpowering smell.
Pros
*Takes off every bit of makeup
*Lasts a long time
*Screw top lid to secure the product
*Available in different sizes
*Brilliant for contact wearers
Cons
*Expensive
*Feels oily on the eyelids
Overall I love this makeup remover and perfect for me because I wear contacts, a bit expensive but worth the money.
You can get this in large Boots stores and online, basically any shop which sells Clinique products and it costs £17.00.

Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer Review
Nivea hydration primer launched many months ago but I have never done a review on this product. So here we go...
Nivea hydration primer comes in a glass packaging, so it feels really heavy and can smash when dropped on a hard surface. It has a screw top lid which means I can get to every single bit of product left in the jar to finish it off. One thing I hate about tubes, is that its very hard to get all the product out and I feel like I am wasting the product. So for me, this is perfect since I can get to all the product.
When I applied it to the face, it felt quite fresh and a wet feeling which went away after 5 minutes max. It left my face feeling soft and fresh. It felt like my skin was hydrated a lot more after I used this product and left my skin smooth. There is no chemical smell, just a very fresh smell (not very good at pinpointing smells by the way). The lotion is a white colour but when blended into the skin, it turns clear.
Half way through the day, it seemed like my make-up was just about there, got quite shiny but nothing too bad. By the end of the day, I usually use my superdrug tea tree cleanser and boots cotton pad to take my make-up off, I hardly got any product on the pad which means either my make-up has slid of my face or absorbed into my skin which is thanks to the Nivea express hydration primer.
**Pros**
~ Fresh feeling
~ Supple and soft skin
~ Hydrates Skin
~ Easy to get all the product out due to the screw top lid
**Cons**
~ Not a PRIMER!!!
~ Make-up was not on my face by the end of the day
~ Heavy packaging due to glass

Alberto Balsam Launches New Honey And Sweet Almond Range
I love the brand Alberto Balsam and I especially love their shampoo. My mum bought the tea tree one and it smells amazing. So when I heard that Alberto Balsam are launching a new range called Honey and Sweet Almond I was Excited. This sounds like I am going to enjoy using this product and would smell lovely.
In this range they will be launching a shampoo, conditioner, and an intensive conditioning treatment. The shampoo is to cleanse, and moisturise dry and damaged hair. The conditioner helps to detangle, nourishes and smoothes hair. Lastly the intensive conditioning treatment is for dry and damaged hair.
All these products contain honey and sweet almond extract and pro vitamin B5 to strengthen dry and damaged hair.
The honey and sweet almond range will be out next week in shops that sells Alberto Balsam, I know that Asda sells this brand if anyone is asking.
They all cost £1.07 each which is pretty amazing because the shampoo is great quality for how much it costs

Models Own Nail Polish 'Pink Paradise'
Pink Paradise is a new nail polish from Models Own from their latest collection containing 5 shades. The 'splash' collection has literally just came out into Boots and I saw Pink Paradise and had to pick it up.
Pink Paradise looks like a super bright barbie pink colour but in actual fact its nowhere near as pink on the nails. Its a very sheer pink with chunks of iridescent glitter shining purple, orange, yellow and green with shimmer particles shining the same colours. The first layer is very sheer with a hint of pink and a varied amount of glitter.
I used three coats of Pink Paradise and it still does not look like the colour in the bottle. However I do like the colour on the nails, its not an overpowering pink, its a light pink colour which a heap of glitter particles. The glitter particles look stunning in the sun shine and can still pick up the glitter in dull daytime whether.
Plus if you are looking for a super quick nail polish to apply, I would not recommend this as it does take 5 mins max to dry and you need quite a few layers to make the colour decent enough.
Overall dont expect pink paradise to be as pink as in the bottle, but its still a nice pink to where with the glitter which looks so nice. You might be able to get the same colour if you layer the nail polish lots of times but I prefer just three coats.
The problem with glitter nail polishes like this one, is the removal process. I think it will take a long time and a lot of nail polish remover and patience.

Mac Baking Beauties Haul
I have never really been a MAC fan since there products are expensive for what they are. However I do keep an eye out for any collection that catches my eye and this collection did just that.
The first item is a pro longwear paint pot in 'Mooncake'. This is my first ever paint pot and I am quite happy with this one. I love the colour, its so fresh and shimmery which will be best for the spring and summer.. Mooncake is a warm beige, so it is very netural and can be either worn on its own or under eye shadow.
The last few items are the pearlmatte face powders in Pink buttercream and In for a treat. These two are just amazing and so pretty. Pink Buttercream is a light silvery pink base with dark pink flowers and periwinkle leaves. This one is going to be great for light skin tones and the pink roses in the middle can be used as a pink blusher.
The second pearlmatte face powder is In for a treat which is a champagne base with matte coral flower and mint leaves. This can be used on all skin tones and the flowers in the middle can be used as a coral blusher. Both of these face powders are so beautiful to look at, however they do come at a cost of £21.50 which is the second highest product I have bought in my life so far.
Overall, all these products are very me and the colours are just amazing for this upcoming summer

No7 Brush Cleanser First Impressions Review
For some time now, beauty companys have released brush cleansers such as the clarisonic skin cleaning brush. I know clarisonic has released two brushes called Mia which has become popular. Then there are other brands which are starting to catch on that the clarisonic's skin cleaning kit is a hit in the beauty community.
I little while ago, I went into Boots and wandered over to the no7 counter and saw they had their own version of the Clarisonic Mia but cheaper. It was around £30 so it wasnt as expensive as the Clarisonic. However the quality might be different since it is a lot cheaper, so I bought it a couple of weeks ago just to try out a brush cleanser.
I have just started trying it out this morning, and thought I might as well do a first impressions review just to let you know my intial thoughts of this product.
So as I said I used it for the first time this morning, and I used the Soap And Glory Peaches And Clean to work with the no7 brush. First of as always I used water to wet my face before hand. Then pumped out 2 lots of the Peaches And Clean cleanser and spread that evenly, on my face so that the brush had something to work with. On this brush there are two power settings, I used the first power setting which is a slow moving setting. I put the brush under the tap for a couple of seconds and started using the brush to cleanse my face.
At first, the brush seemed really harsh and rough on the face which made it a bit painful cleansing the whole of my face. I thought it would be soft and gentle but no it was quite harsh. I dont know if this is because the quality might not be as good as the Clarisonic since it is cheaper. But it seemed harsh for the skin, so I might not consider using this every morning and night.
I would not recommend for people who have very sensitive skin since this would damage the skin a lot more and could be painful in use. Overall this brush did the job by rubbing in the cleanser into my skin but it feels very rough and harsh which might put me off using the brush all the time.

October Glossybox - DIY Beauty
This months Glossybox is all about having a cosy night in and treating yourself to a 'home spa experience' since October has been pretty rubbish for weather lately. Also its breast cancer awareness month, so Glossybox is supporting the breast cancer care by donating the money they make from this box.
As usual it comes in the nice pale pink box with their black logo on the front. Inside the box after I opened it up, I found four products instead of five which is a bit annoying.
Anyway the first product I picked up was the Dermalogica 3 step day and night kit. I have heard of Dermalogica and always wanted to try something from their range because their brand is very well known. In this kit, there is a cleanser, toner and moisturiser and it is for problem skin such as blemishes and acne. I have blemishes and I think this will be brilliant in controlling the blemishes and hopefully stop them from appearing on my face. This kit is £12 from cleanstart.dermalogica.com/uk/ ,
The second product I picked up was the Anatomicals Don't Just Clean It Woman, Scrub It. I love the name of this product, find it quite funny and catches the eye. This is a body scrub with a pink grapefruit scent in a long tube and is 75ml. This is quite a big sample which is brilliant because I find having bigger samples means you can try it out properly. I wanted another body scrub since my another one is nearly running out and this sounds right up my street.
The third product I picked up was the Skinetica Anti-Blemish Solutions. This solution helps to clear blemishes and any problems on the skin and should start to see the results in 2-3 days. They also claim its kind to skin with no side effects. To use this product, all you have to do is put some of the solution on a cotton pads and wipe it over the face without rinsing the product off.
The last product is by Yves Rocher France and I have a lipstick in 'Framboise' which is a bright red colour. Im not a big fan of red lipsticks because I dont like having bright lipsticks on and it might make me look washed out with pale skin. Its a full size product with £14.50 which is more than the box is worth. My camera would not focus on the lipstick but its just a normal red lipstick.
Overall this is a very good box for me this month and I would use most of the products apart from the lipstick. I cant wait to try the blemish products since blemishes can be a big problem for me. But very happy with this box.

Nails of the week - 7th October 2012
This might be a new blog post that I might do every week about the nail polish that I am wearing that week. So this weeks nail polish is by Models Own. I recently bought 6 polishes from them when they did their half price sale on everything on their website. I took advantage of that sale and bought 6 polishes. The one I am wearing in the picture below is Mystic Mauve. Mystic Mauve is part of their champagne collection which was released ages ago. It is a nice Purple/Lilac/Mauve colour and has a nice sheen to it. The polish was very good quality because it only took one coat to make it look like the bottle colour and covered the whole nail perfectly.
I then put a glitter coat over Mystic Mauve which was Boogie Nights. This is another Models Own nail polish and its from their newest collection 'Mirrorball'. The polish has got purple, blue and multi colour glitter particles in different shapes and sizes. I love this nail polish but its quite tricky trying to get the glitter to stay on the nail and to make the glitter even on each nail to not make it look weird.
Overall love this combo Mystic Mauve and Boogie Nights. You can get Models Own on their website and in Boots online and instore.

What Tenerife Videos I Will Be Uploading To Youtube
As you all know, I have been to Tenerife last week and I thought I might as well do some videos around the trip. I am thinking about uploading 4 or 5 videos about the Tenerife holiday. This is what I am thinking uploading -
I hope this might not seem too much about tenerife but this holiday was my first ever proper trip abroad and I want to share my thoughts about the trip and what I did whilst I was there.
Whats in my tenerife travel make-up bag should be on youtube now for you to watch and the others will follow shortly.
Then after the whole tenerife videos, I will get back to normal with the beauty videos, I hope you enjoy :) x-x

M&S Candles - Fresh Rose and Bloom
I have never really been into candles but recently I went into M&S and saw these candles. They are soo pretty because the container that holds the candle is made of glass and has a beautiful flower detailing going all around the glass.
It makes the glass look more interesting rather than just having a plain glass container. The container will only hold the small tealight candles since its the right size for the a tealight candle.
The candle itself smells amazing. I have two different ones in Fresh Rose and Bloom. I can smell these in my room and gives my room a nice scent. Its not overpowering but not a weak smell. Just right really.
Anyway they smell amazing, however they can be a bit tricky to light but I usually tip the candle to the side and it usually lights within 5 seconds. The candles are meant to burn for 4 hours each, so quite a good time for a small candle.
They are really nice and pretty in the dark and really good quality for £3.50.
You can get these in M&S now for £3.50 each.

A Very Cute Owl Make-up Bag From Marks And Spencer
When I saw this on a website the other day, I just had to make a post about it on my blog. This is such a cute make-up bag. I love owls and I need a new make-up bag.
Anyway it has a blue base with gold owls printed on the bag itself. They do have different owl designs to make it more interesting and pretty. This looks good quality and I usually dont like to spend a fortune on a make-up bag since I have really no use for a make-up bag. But I would buy this just because it looks pretty. Its not the usual type of bag I would go for but who cannot resist owls?
This bag is being released at the end of September for £8.50 in M&S

July Glossybox - First ever Glossybox!!
This is my first ever glossybox and I wasnt let down. I have heard so much about glossybox and I wanted it for over a year(when it first started). When I successfully got a job, I thought I might as well sign up to Glossybox. Anyway lets get on with what was inside the glossybox.
But first off, I love the packaging. I love the parcel box because its black with their logo in pink (love). The box with the samples in is just beautiful. I love that the box is a light pale pink with their black logo in the middle. I can use these boxes as storage boxes.
When I opened up the box. I saw black tissue paper with a pink ribbon on top. They really do go into detail and care about the presentation which is good. When I opened up the tissue paper, I saw the following samples/products.
The first one that caught my eye was the Elizabeth Arden samples. These are three small skincare samples and they are visible difference skin balancing exfoliant equilibrant, optimizing skin serum and skin balancing lotion with SPF 15. These are all 2ml samples, so there is quite a lot of product all together.
The next one is Collin resultime gel collagene regenerant. I think this is an anti aging product, so I wont really need much use out of this one since I am still quite young and dont need to start on anti aging products just yet. Dont really know what its meant to do, so its quite a blah sort of product.
Monu is the next product and its an extra rich night cream. At first, I thought this was a anti aging products, but as I was looking at the july glossybox videos on youtube, I noticed that some people used it at my age. This product is for anyone who has very dry skin. I did have very dry skin couple of weeks ago since I had a reaction to a skincare product I used. This would of been perfect for that time but I can still use it because sometimes my skin can go quite dry. Cant wait to try this one out.
The next one is by Paul Mitchell and its the awapuhi texturizing sea spray. At first, I did not notice that this was by Paul Mitchell. I thought the brand was awaphui and never heard of that company before. This product is perfect for the summer and perfect to create beach looking hair. Might have to try this product when the weather brightens up in the UK.
The second to last one is by Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics. I have heard of this company but never purchased any products from them, so it was quite interesting receiving a product from the company. This product is a lip frosting and can be used as a blush on the cheeks. The smell is just amazing and smells like sweets and very sweet smell to it which I love. The colour is a bright pink with a shimmer too it. I love the smell and love this product.
The last product is by kryolan and this is a satin powder. This is a micro fine powder which will create a nice shimmer effect for eye make-up. I love this product since I love shimmery and sparkly products and its full size. Its a nice pink/coral colour which is perfect for the summer. Hands down winner for me.
Overall the Julys Glossybox and my first ever Glossybox was quite good and hopefully will carry on with Glossybox. I love the idea of trying new products and trying products from companys I have never heard of. This will make my make-up range a lot broader rather than sticking to the drugstore brands.
