NYX Cosmetics now available in Boots UK

This has been a long time coming for the UK make-up addicts, NYX has finally launched in to Boots UK. If you don't know, NYX is an American make-up brand that has affordable yet brilliant products. NYX has slowly been coming into the UK. For example, NYX is being sold in Next, however, there is a limited amount of products and it is usually not the newest products on the market. I also have noticed that Selfridges are starting to sell their products which is brilliant and now Boots are finally stocking NYX online. I don't know if they will be stocking this brand in the shops, but you can definitely  buy NYX online. For the UK people, we do actually have a NYX website, but it looks like this never gets updated with the latest products and the stock is very limited.
NYX Cosmetics

On the Boots website, they did announce that NYX cosmetics was coming to Boots a couple of weeks ago. Now they have officially launched NYX into their range of beauty brands and it is available right now on their website. It looks like they have a small range of products on the Boots website at the moment, but hopefully they will sell a bigger range when it becomes more popular. The latest lip product by NYX is the Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick and this is actually available in the UK as well via Boots. Also, they have the very hyped up highlight and contour kit that got everyone raving about.

NYX Cosmetics at Boots UK

I am very excited about NYX cosmetics being sold in Boots in the UK because I have heard so many good things about this company and I can finally buy some of their products. You can find NYX cosmetics in Selfridges, Boots and on their own website.

Are you excited to try any of their products?

October Glossybox - DIY Beauty

This months Glossybox is all about having a cosy night in and treating yourself to a 'home spa experience' since October has been pretty rubbish for weather lately. Also its breast cancer awareness month, so Glossybox is supporting the breast cancer care by donating the money they make from this box.

As usual it comes in the nice pale pink box with their black logo on the front. Inside the box after I opened it up, I found four products instead of five which is a bit annoying.

Anyway the first product I picked up was the Dermalogica 3 step day and night kit. I have heard of Dermalogica and always wanted to try something from their range because their brand is very well known. In this kit, there is a cleanser, toner and moisturiser and it is for problem skin such as blemishes and acne. I have blemishes and I think this will be brilliant in controlling the blemishes and hopefully stop them from appearing on my face. This kit is £12 from cleanstart.dermalogica.com/uk/ ,

The second product I picked up was the Anatomicals Don't Just Clean It Woman, Scrub It. I love the name of this product, find it quite funny and catches the eye. This is a body scrub with a pink grapefruit scent in a long tube and is 75ml. This is quite a big sample which is brilliant because I find having bigger samples means you can try it out properly. I wanted another body scrub since my another one is nearly running out and this sounds right up my street.

The third product I picked up was the Skinetica Anti-Blemish Solutions. This solution helps to clear blemishes and any problems on the skin and should start to see the results in 2-3 days. They also claim its kind to skin with no side effects. To use this product, all you have to do is put some of the solution on a cotton pads and wipe it over the face without rinsing the product off.

The last product is by Yves Rocher France and I have a lipstick in 'Framboise' which is a bright red colour. Im not a big fan of red lipsticks because I dont like having bright lipsticks on and it might make me look washed out with pale skin. Its a full size product with £14.50 which is more than the box is worth. My camera would not focus on the lipstick but its just a normal red lipstick.

Overall this is a very good box for me this month and I would use most of the products apart from the lipstick. I cant wait to try the blemish products since blemishes can be a big problem for me. But very happy with this box.

First Thoughts on the Revlon Lip Butters!!

So there has been a lot of hype around the Revlon lip butters for a while now since they got released in the US about 8 months ago or something like that. Anyway everyone has been raving about this product on youtube and blogs. The lip butters were released in the UK about 2 months ago and i found these hard to find since everyone went out and bought them. Took me a while to find but i did finally tracked some down and i bought three.

I went onto my local boots and they stocked the lip butters. There were a range of lip butters from brights to nudes and i think they had about 8 shades to choose from. But looking on the boots website, they have 14 shades in total. Anyway i bought 3 lip butters since they were on offer 3 for 2 at boots at that time. The lip butters are all pink shades because i prefer pink to any other colour. The 3 that i have are Sweet Tart, Cotton Candy and Strawberry Shortcake.

First off, i love the packaging, i love the design on the front of it because its a nice and its a fishnet design which makes it more interesting rather than just a plain boring packaging. The packaging seems quite secure and not going to fall apart quickly. It's quite hard to get the packaging away from the lip butter, which is a good thing because it keeps the lip butter secure.

Sweet tart is a quite bright pink and properly the most pigmented out of all 3. Cotton candy is the lightest out of all 3 and this one to me looks like it has a gold sheen going throughout the lip butter. Strawberry shortcake is sort of like Sweet tart but a lot lighter in colour.

I havent really tried them out that much so i cannot give a review but i can say from using the lip butter a few times, they seem moisturising but quite hard to apply evenly. I think that they are ok but not over the moon with them but i think i need to give them a proper workout in order to have a proper review.
